This is a wonderful show that should be aired more often.

The idea/concept of the show wasn't new, dating all the way back to the Arabian Nights story, ...but...it was a clear stroke of genius to adapt The Brass Bottle into the I Dream of Jeannie TV series. I found it especially ironic that Barbara Eden appeared in The Brass Bottle and then actually became the magic-wielding genie in the bottle. I've got every episode on VCR tape, and have collected 20 of the bottles over the years at various antique stores and flea markets. Even managed to paint them and install furniture inside before any of the major production teams ever thought of carving a niche in the business market making them for sale. However, I don't think they could ever bring the series back with the same premise. Instead, how about switching things around a bit and having a guy genie, related to Barbara Eden's character (possibly her son from the earlier TV movie) became a sworn enemy of the Blue Djin and becomes imprisoned in his own bottle. A modern-day career woman finds the bottle and a whole new expansive array of characters and situations could develop from that premise. Barbara could even play a continuing character as Jeannie and the return of her evil sister. The series' possibility would be endless, but the writing would have to be top-notch in this day and time. I have written 3 books and numerous scripts so I am familiar with projected enterprises from traditionally entertaining shows. This one deserves further consideration for production, as the main character is truly representative of mankind's hope for goodness corked up in a bottle that a true hero or heroine can use for the ultimate good of mankind.

Was a nice movie, I remember very good that programs. I have a question..... How old is Barbara? could I make a relationship with her by mail? could somebody tell me? PLEASE.

Bring it back. I can't believe they left us hanging. Obviously you can't believe any of the critics. This was really enjoyable to watch.
